The month energy changes on 7th August, 2013 and lasts until 6th September 2013. This month there is a lot going on energetically – some really good, other aspects really bad. Basically the energy of the year is doubled up for the month. What does this mean? In a nutshell it means the negative energy is doubly as bad and the positive energy is doubly as good! It is crucial to follow the instructions below to help minimise the challenging energy and activate the prosperous energy where possible in your home or business.
If you are fortunate to have your front door or bedroom in the North East, South or North then you can look forward to an extra prosperous month with lots of opportunities to increase your wealth.
If your front door or bedroom is located in the South West, West or East then you should take particular notice of the advice below as your house is more likely to be affected by the visiting challenging energies and requires remediation.
Each month the most challenging energy is the 5 catastrophe and 2 sickness stars. These need to be dealt with appropriately to minimise their negative effect on you. The 5 is in the Centre and twice as strong. If you have your bedroom here we strongly advise to move into another room for the month such is the extent of the negative energy visiting the centre of the home this month. If you have an active area here then you should try and keep it as quiet as possible. If you have followed our yearly advice you will already have a salt water cure, metal bells or brass pagoda located in the centre which will help harmonise this challenging energy.
The dreaded sickness star is located in the South West this month. It helps support the annual visiting sickness energy further so must be remedied. Remember in terms of business the sickness star also relates to sickness of finances. You should already have a salt water cure, Brass Calabash and/or metal bells in this sector if you followed our advice for the year. Alternatively, if you prefer ringing a space clearing bell morning and night will also greatly help minimise the challenging negative located here.
The conflict star is located in the East so adding some red in this area will assist harmonise this energy.
The West is visited by energy which hinders good communication. To remedy a vase of fresh flowers or 4 sticks of lucky bamboo will work well.

Choosing a Feng Shui Consultant can be difficult at the best of times. It is a large subject, taught at many levels. As the boundaries between Feng Shui and related disciplines can be blurred, it is easy to get confused.
All Feng Shui Masters and training institutions give out varying levels of qualifications and have these thoroughly explained on their own web-sites. There is no such thing as an industry standard, as each Master and training institution has their own individual standards for the students to reach. Therefore it is up to you to complete some research on the consultant to confirm their training and education.
This can be done several ways – ask the consultant to provide certificates of their training, contact the Master/Training Institution directly, or check with The Association of Feng Shui Consultants who have already confirmed their training. It must be noted that a consultant cannot make guarantees that you will be rich and famous or that you will be cured from your illnesses. For some of us this isn’t our path or destiny.
